We bought a van! We ended up with a 15 passenger van that was already converted to a camper van. We knew we needed to get a first bench seat, but we were excited that the bed, fan, heater, etc. were already in!
How it’s going…
In order to access the attachment points, Matt started ripping out the flooring. And then ripped out the cabinet (which was also in the way of the seat), and then ripped out the bed, and so on! He is learning A LOT about our new van – which will be helpful in the coming year, but it’s a lot of work now!
Our first ‘mistake’
So, maybe not a mistake in buying the van, but obviously it hasn’t been what we expected. We are trying to remind ourselves that whatever van we ended up purchasing would have taken more work than we expected. At least we will know how to access/fix things along the way!
